The rooms and shared lounge are comfortable, cozy, and clean. The woman who runs the place does try to be pleasant and helpful, though at times she comes across as if something is bothering her. For what we paid, I expected access to either a pool or a sauna, both listed on the website as services. We stayed for four days at the end of August, during cold, rainy weather of about 12 °C. The pool wasn’t usable because it isn’t heated and may have been under 20 °C. She also wouldn’t switch on the sauna, saying she doesn’t use it in summer :D. After that, she began insisting very strictly on anti-coronavirus measures, even though there were around 100 or fewer cases a day in the country at the time. The chief hygienist would have given her a medal for it. I’m not someone who ignores precautions: I’m vaccinated and wear a mask wherever needed. Still, the way she enforced them left me feeling pressured all the time. It made the stay very unpleasant, and I couldn’t wait to leave. People in other rooms were getting annoyed by it too. If cleanliness is your priority, I can recommend this hotel. It’s probably the cleanest accommodation in Kremnica. She even disinfected the doorbell we’d rung just five minutes earlier.

We stayed for two nights as families with children and booked two suites. The place was lovely, clean, and cozy, and the owner was friendly and ready to help with anything. We used the pool, shared spaces with a TV, and the outdoor seating. Breakfast was fantastic too, and she even handed out chocolate medals to the kids. It didn’t bother us that the fridge and TV were in the common areas rather than in our rooms. We had everything we needed and would gladly come back. The owner sets a great example of how to provide quality accommodation. Thank you!

We’ll definitely return, thank you. The landlady is lovely and helpful, and the rooms are clean and cozy. It works well for groups, a family weekend, or a couple’s stay. There’s no fridge in the room, but if you need something chilled, the landlady will put it in her kitchen for you. We cooled our beer in the pool instead 🤣🍺. The water was cold, though in the summer heat we spent a lot of time beside it and in it. There’s a grill too, which we didn’t get to use, but will try next time. Breakfast felt a little expensive for my taste. She always leaves plenty of water, and we also got water with strawberries and lemon. Tea is included, but coffee costs extra. That’s normal, though guests should be told the price ahead of time so it isn’t a surprise. There’s also a fireplace, books in Cyrillic, board games, and a TV in the big shared room 🤣🤣.

Thank you to the owner for such a great stay. We were there with two children under three, and the place was so clean. We had coffee, breakfast, and the pool, and didn’t have to worry about a thing, just enjoy Kremnica. Thanks again :) PS: We’ll definitely be back.
