Levice may have had fewer hotel choices 10-20 years ago, but these days this place can’t keep up with other renovated hotels. The rooms are all old, and the restaurant still has room to improve both the space and the service.

I visited the hotel and restaurant 36 years ago. The service was excellent, and the hotel management made a great contribution to preparing the 60th birthday celebration for the Chief Executive Officer of the Jaslovske Bohunice and Mochovce nuclear power plants on February 14, 1990. With great respect, Edmund Doktor.
Finding the hotel was a little difficult because it’s tucked behind another building. The restaurant service was quite good, but the food was average, with more side dishes than actual food. The accommodation was very poor for the price. The room was musty, the furnishings were worse than in student dorms, and the elevators felt like they were from the communist era. I wouldn’t recommend it.
