Privat Monika

I spent four nights at Privat Monika for a ski trip to Jasna, Slovakia, and the stay was a true five star experience. It was easy to get to Jasna for skiing, and the town of Liptovsky Mikulas was lovely to explore. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and tastefully decorated. Monika was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Privat Monika exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for a comfortable, memorable visit.

The rooms are neat, breakfast is delicious, and there’s even a shoe dryer. Monika, the hotel administrator, is kind and very helpful. One of the best places I’ve stayed for skiing. I recommend it.

I stayed for four nights at the beginning of March 2023. The host was fantastic and paid attention to the little things. She gave us free beer, offered cookies and fruit in the morning, and even offered to drive us to the parking area for the bus. There’s a room for storing skis and a machine that dries boots automatically. The jacuzzi and sauna are available for a good price. The rooms were clean and cozy, with plenty of clothing storage, a TV, and a clean, nicely equipped bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, including sugar, salt, oil, coffee, and lots of other condiments. The location is in the city center, 200 metres from the center, restaurants, and shopping mall, and an 8 minute drive from the free parking where you catch the skibus to jasna. I definitely recommend it.

We were eight friends staying in three very clean rooms, which worked really well for a group or couples. The host was flexible, and we could park both of our cars nearby. Restaurants are five minutes from the door, and hiking trails in the Tatras are 20 minutes away by bus or car. We also got to enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna. We had a great stay at Privat Monika, definitely recommend.
