Hotel Štefánik

We had to leave before the usual breakfast hours, 07:00-10:00, all week. The staff kindly opened breakfast at 06:15 for us, and packed food to go for the colleagues leaving even earlier. The bag had sandwiches, fruit, and a drink. Really generous, professional, flexible, friendly service. Very nice hotel. Recommended 👌🏻

Breakfast was very good, and the hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, in a green part of Slovakia near the main street. There’s a spa and pool, though I didn’t use either. At night, the downstairs discoteque gets very noisy, and you can also hear the activity happening in front of the hotel beneath the windows. The rest was fine, and I’d come back.

The bar and restaurant serve good beer and quality food, and I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it. The rooms are decent and have the key amenities. One thing bothered me this time: I seem to have been given the disabled room, and the toilet was so high I could barely reach the floor with my feet. Otherwise it’s a nice, decent quality hotel, and I’d stay again.

The breakfast was fantastic and included with our room, and Myjava itself is a nice town. We’d misunderstood and thought the hotel was in Piestany, but it isn’t. Getting there from Piestany means a long, expensive taxi ride. The hotel is quite nice, though.
