I parked on the sidewalk right outside the house, and it felt safe. The owner, Ewa, was lovely and treated me to homemade soup and cake twice over my five-day visit. Everything was very clean. The rooms are fairly large, though the bathroom in the double room is really small. I'd happily rate it 4.5 stars. 😀🤗

There's no restaurant in the building, but there's a shared kitchen with a gas stove, kettle, fridge and microwave. The owner is friendly and helpful. The train to the High Tatras is about an 800 m walk away. We'll definitely stay here again.

Nova Lesná is a lovely village below the Tatras, with two grocery shops, a church, a wine shop, and a playground for children and adults. You can eat well at Hospitality St. Hubert, and there's also a good pizzeria on Tatranska Street. At the private house, the kitchen has a fridge, microwave, plates, glasses and everything else you'd need. The landlady is very pleasant and ready to help with anything. I can only recommend staying here!

The view of the Tatras is beautiful, the price is great, everything's clean, and the hostess is really pleasant. My only complaint is that there's no wifi.
