The hotel and its food didn’t come close to justifying the price, so the whole experience was underwhelming. There isn’t even a sauna included in the room rate, which is standard at virtually every other hotel with one. The surroundings are beautiful, but the place and staff give the impression of coasting on past glory. Spa treatments also felt like a way to squeeze money out of guests: every item is charged separately, and none is included in the hotel price. I definitely won’t return, and I’d avoid staying here if you can.

There’s a lot to explore in the surroundings, including spa and water therapy, NAP Parafango, and more. The staff are very nice and help organize what you need, and you can choose from three food options. It’s a pretty historic place. There was a cat outside that seemed to offer zootherapy, though I was mistaken about it being there to feed: you have to go to the park to feed the cat.

A great weekend place to unwind. The rooms are quite nice, and the restaurants and cafes inside are good. There’s plenty to do, including cycling. I’d recommend the mud bath, mirror bath, and massage.
