The view from my room was picturesque, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, modern, and well equipped it was. Parking was free, with plenty of space. The location is great, very close to the shopping centre and right next to a supermarket. This is the best hotel in Poprad that I’ve stayed at, and I’ll definitely come back. Looking forward to my next visit 😊

We had a lovely, comfortable stay at Hotel Mamut. The hotel is brand new, clean, and tiny, and breakfast at the nearby restaurant was good and tasty. The staff even helped us with the papers for the Slovak Embassy in Moscow and let us check in later. My thanks to them, and thanks to Hotel Mamut for everything.

We picked the hotel hoping for a good look at the Tatra Mountains. We could see them, though the streets nearby felt industrial and grey, so next time we’d stay up in the mountains themselves. The hotel is still a good place to stay, with clean, tidy rooms and a fairly new, modern feel. Our balcony was on the small side. The staff were especially helpful. The receptionist gave us ideas for places to visit and things to see, and even printed maps and train schedules for us.

The late, contactless check-in worked well: the key box is by the hotel entrance. Staff were helpful, and the family rooms were comfortable, with clean bathrooms and a modern interior. We’d stay again when visiting Slovensky Raj. I did miss having tea and coffee in the room, though. Mamut Pub right next door is great.
