Getting to the main train station takes some effort. There was no information about public transport, so it’s a 20-25 minute walk or you’ll need a taxi. My room also got street noise, and there weren’t enough sockets. It was clean, but the bed was really uncomfortable.

The room was cute, and it’s easy to find the place. Restaurants and cafes around the square are just a two-minute walk away, with the highway about four minutes by car. Staff were helpful, and it’s good value, 70 eur for two nights for two people. There are three parking spots on the property, plus free street parking. The floor and dishes could have been cleaner, though I didn’t mind much at that price. I was disappointed that the owner wasn’t wearing a mask and didn’t check our covid passes.

Poprad’s a nice area, but the place itself felt old and dirty. There was dust and spiderwebs that looked like they’d been there for years, and the towels and sheets were so old they still smelled. The bed was very uncomfortable. The bedroom is upstairs and gets much too hot in summer.

The staff guy was extremely kind and helpful, and our room was clean with new furnishings. It’s not right in the center, but Poprad center is only a short drive away. We had a very good stay and would definitely recommend it.

A lovely small hotel with a great feel to it. The host was friendly and really helpful. I’ll visit again when I’m back in Poprad.
