Penzion Sileo

We came in exhausted and hungry after a day biking around the Tatra Mountains. The restaurant had already closed, but the owners still put together a homemade two-course dinner for us. They also let us leave our bikes there and hose off our muddy gear. We only stayed one night because of some trouble on the road, but we'll be back. It's a great location, and the owners are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The homemade food is delicious too. Can't say enough good things about this place!

The staff really make this already lovely place feel special. The food is good, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the rooms and shared areas were super clean when I arrived. They even welcomed me with a drink. When it was raining, they drove me into town to the bus stop so I didn't have to walk. I'm very grateful to the wonderful people here.

I felt comfortable here straight away. The whole family was warm and laid back: the wife greeted us with a welcome drink, her husband helped us plan our tours, and grandma was there with coffee in the morning. We went for a dip in the stream nearby, then had a really tasty dinner. It's a special place, and I wish we'd had more time to stay. Thank you!

The food is simple and traditional, made with great ingredients, and incredibly tasty. They can also cater for dietary needs. I'm gluten free and had no trouble at all, quite the opposite. Just remember to order lunch ahead, since this isn't a typical à la carte restaurant. The owners and staff are really friendly, and there are lots of play activities for children on the grounds. The setting is beautiful, with stunning views of the Rohace Mountains, right by the forest and close to the mountain trails. A lovely find for nature lovers, and very family friendly.
