The pool and sauna were probably the highlights for me. Inside, the hotel looks better than it does from outside. The rooms are generally clean and roomy, though not luxurious, which is about what you’d expect from a 2star hotel. The restaurant is decent too, but could be improved. It may not be the best hotel, but it isn’t the worst either.

I’m not too demanding, but the blankets weren’t very clean, and when the light bulbs went out at night, they couldn’t replace them. Breakfast was very poor, and the service was really, really slow. I gave it 3 stars because this was my first time in URSS, so I don’t know the local standards well.

There’s a bad smell throughout the building, and the staff don’t speak English. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
