The apartments are huge, either 60m2 or 90m2, and furnished with a lot of taste. They have plenty of equipment, including an electric oven, ceramic hob and dishwasher, plus a magnificent balcony overlooking the High Tatras and Kráľova Hola. The setting is peaceful and private, with a large plot and no “developer violence.” Zubaczy railway station is a ten-minute walk away, while Koliba Žerucha is close enough to reach in slippers. There’s private parking and decent facilities too.

No. 4 was spotless, with fresh-smelling towels. It had a refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a huge living room. I was 100% satisfied.

No. 1 was okay, but the cleaning could be better. The shower rack is rusty, and the sealant seams and bathroom tiles are dirty. Be careful with the dishwasher, it tips forward when you put dirty dishes on the top rack. Looking out the window, unfortunately, means facing the neighbor’s mess.
