The C5 apartment is easy to reach from the train station and close to Strbske pleso. It’s on the second floor, not counting the basement, with a small mountain view and a lovely view of the stream. The balcony has outdoor seating, and the area is very quiet. It’s a fairly modern studio with plenty of storage, a hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, kitchen utensils, heating and a TV. The double bed has two single mattresses. There’s a lift in the building and private parking too. I’ll come back.

We’d happily return. The owner was very helpful and patiently talked me through everything, even after I entered the wrong castle code. The apartment was bright, spacious, attractive and clean, with comfortable beds and good equipment. From the balcony there’s a lovely nature view. It’s also conveniently near the train station and some good local huts.
