Hotel Boboty

The one real plus is the amazing mountain view. The hotel feels stuck in the eighties, with old carpets and bathrooms that have no electrical outlets. There are no coffee or tea options in the room, and breakfast is the same each day. The single coffee machine is small and very slow, so we always waited at least 20 minutes. It only offers three kinds of coffee, which is disappointing in a large hotel with so many people. Staff didn't seem to care about passing on the coffee machine problem. The sauna was OK, but the pool was average, busy, and run down. I wouldn't call it a nice spa and wellness area. It's on the lower level, with a long walk to get there.

The location is good, the views are nice, and breakfast was good. But the dirty bathroom, with hair in the shower corner, broken shower holder and bed support, and poor customer service made the stay bad. The mattresses are for Spartans. The elevator barely worked. Staff said children were playing with the buttons, and that repairs would mean taking it out of service for two days. We stayed two days and it worked once. We had to carry bags and suitcases up and down to the third floor many times. Staff didn't care, made poor excuses, and laughed off complaints. People with bad knees or disabilities would struggle to reach their rooms, and staff looked away instead of offering a solution. We heard the elevator had been out of order for at least ten years.

The place has plenty to do, including table football, pool, billiards, sauna, fitness, and bowling. It's in a beautiful mountain location, close to skiing, with free outdoor parking. Half-board was quite good, with lots of breakfast and dinner options that changed daily. But the hotel is visibly worn, with furniture, carpets, and decorations from the 80s. Our room carpet had a huge hole, and the sofa was stained with black dog paw marks. Cleanliness didn't seem to be a priority: our room wasn't cleaned for two days in a row, and we had to ask twice for fresh towels before anyone brought them. A pity for such a beautiful area, and the room prices don't match what you get.

The buffet food was delicious, and the staff were very nice. We stayed for a week as a family and loved the gorgeous mountain view and how close we were to all the tourist spots. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. Greetings from Ohio, USA.
