We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel sits in a lovely valley, and it's an easy walk through the park into Trenčianske Teplice. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Staff were friendly and polite. There's no air conditioning, so the attic rooms can get too warm on sunny days. The menu didn't look very extensive, but we didn't try the food, so I can't say how good it is. A taxi to the Pohoda festival cost 20€ in 2017.

Comfortable, pleasant hotel and courteous staff who provide good service. The WiFi coverage could be better...

My mother and her boyfriend loved the quiet setting at Parkhotel in Baračka, the park and nearby walks, and the helpful, friendly staff. They looked forward to their annual visit and saved their pension all year to spend their birthday stay there. Then, about a week before they were due to arrive, the hotel cancelled, citing technical reasons, and said their full deposit of 1021.60 EUR would be refunded within three weeks. More than a year later, they still haven't received a cent. No one seems to be receiving messages, and there's no way to reach anyone about getting back the money they worked so hard to save. It feels like it was stolen from them. This would be different if they had cancelled, but they didn't. I'm sad for them, and for myself, that this can happen.
