The kitchen is very well equipped, and the setting by the forest and next to a local farm is beautiful. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, plus one small shared bedroom. One toilet wasn’t working, and we weren’t told in advance.

A cozy little place for couples or families, and the price is affordable.

The owner’s attitude was the one thing that spoiled the stay for me. She didn’t seem willing to help sort things out. Even though it was summer, we weren’t allowed to light the fireplace. The grill was listed in the description but wasn’t available, and when I asked about wood for goulash, I was told there was enough in the forest. Also, the outdoor seating isn’t covered, so bad weather means staying indoors. The cottage itself is spacious, clean, and well equipped, in a beautiful forest location near the chalet and the historic town of Kremnica.

We’ll definitely come back to this lovely place for a relaxing break. The cottage is spacious, clean, and beautiful, and even the sheets smelled better than ours at home. There’s a small sauna, a presso machine, a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. The owners are friendly too.

We’d love to return to this fully equipped, beautiful cottage in a calm, pleasant forest setting. I’d happily recommend it.
