Tatragolf Mountain Resort

The lama nearby was cute, at least. Our stay itself fell through because the rooms weren't cleaned or prepared when we arrived on 26.01.02, apparently because of an internal issue with the cleaning staff. Cleanliness is essential in a hotel, especially a four-star one, so we had to leave and find somewhere else. The location would otherwise have been good, and I hope they sort the problem out soon.

The breakfast was disappointing: the buffet only runs in peak season, which is fair enough, but the “English breakfast” we got was pretty lackluster. Beans seemed to be the only thing making it English. The room had stains on the walls and gaps in the tapestry, too. We knew the price was low and didn't expect much, but I was still let down. I won't come back.

The kids were especially happy with the huge playground and the bouncy castles and water splash inflatable. Breakfast had lots of options, so they found plenty to eat. Our family of four, two adults and two kids, had a great stay at Tatras Golf Resort. The room was tidy and nice, and the balcony had a spectacular view.

The dinner buffet was awful, with cold dishes that were supposed to be hot and didn't look appetizing. The room felt dated, and the bedsheet had a tear about the size of a coin. Outside, three broken chairs were lined up in the corridor, one with old shoes on it, along with a cot. It looked like a junk shop. The TV remote didn't work, and there weren't any common areas worth mentioning for relaxing or talking. Definitely not a four-star place.
