I've never stayed at a worse hotel. The reception was closed from 10pm until 2pm, even though we had to check out at 10am. We were there for a festival and got rude answers when we asked how things were organized. If it were my choice, we'd have left after the first night because of the staff.

For a low price, it's an okay hotel, and they didn't charge us for the first night. But our flight was delayed and we couldn't arrive by 22:00; after that, nobody was there to help us check in, which caused a major problem on our trip. The towels weren't very clean, and a wedding on the ground floor on our last day made it almost impossible to sleep. They don't speak English, so communication in Slovakia was difficult in general.

The location worked well for us because the station was close, though buses passing by were loud. The food was okay, but on another day they wouldn't serve breakfast or dinner at all. When I asked about food, I was told, “you are the only ones there”; when I asked if we could use a TV from another room, the excuse was “we are full.” At least they could have stuck to one explanation. Our “De-lux” room was badly broken. The very loud fridge froze our kids' medicine on the first day, the TV didn't work, and the furniture was long overdue for replacement. Complaining got nowhere because the staff said they were busy with other events, then it was the weekend. They admitted they'd messed up, but there was no feedback form and no compensation for the room price.

After 12 hours of travel, check-in took an hour and a half. The hotel itself was okay, but the staff were so unpleasant and unprofessional that the whole stay felt awful. I won't stay here again.

A clean, pleasant place, with new furniture and a nice bar and restaurant. The large complex also has a pub and billiards.
