After our hikes, we unwound in the jacuzzi and sauna, which felt great. My girlfriend and I loved the cozy room and the view from it, and the owner was good too. 10/10. If we come back to Ždiar, we’ll stay at Vasko.

The quiet green valley and the mountain view were a big part of what we enjoyed here. We spent a couple of days at this place while visiting Slovakia’s High Tatras and would happily return. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the bathroom was both attractive and practical, with more than we needed. Staff were wonderful, and breakfast was really good. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, too. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We stayed for a couple of nights. The rooms were pleasant, clean, and quiet. In the room, though, there was only hand soap, with no shampoo or shower gel, and no kettle, hair dryer, or refrigerator. Guests can use a separate kitchen, but it doesn’t have everything you might need. The tourist tax is an additional cost.

We had a great stay in beautiful surroundings, and the host was lovely. It was especially nice that breakfast could be served earlier for anyone heading into the mountains in the morning. We’d definitely come back, and highly recommend it! 😁
