The staff were fantastic, always doing their best to accommodate us, especially with special dietary needs. It's a traditional place, cozy and comfortable, so don't expect anything modern. The wellness area feels old-fashioned, but it's good, and the views are amazing.
I felt really humiliated by the lack of customer service. I went into the restaurant and politely asked whether there was room for my group. There were plenty of spaces, but the woman didn't answer in English, German, or Slovak. She could have simply said no in any language, but she showed no basic manners at all.
It was quiet and felt more personal, and I really liked the atmosphere. The food was very tasty, the prices were very good, and the lady serving us was so sweet. I only visited the restaurant, and I'm really glad I did.
We stopped by the restaurant this evening and left completely satisfied. After a long day skiing, our waitress had the extra energy we needed. 100% happy.
The spa, pool, and sauna were spotless, and the stay was a great experience. The rooms were comfortable, though we could hear everything from the next rooms and the hallway. It wasn't a big deal since we spent most of our time outside. The place is nicely located on the hills of Strachan ski center. Service was friendly and attentive, and breakfast and dinner were fresh, plentiful, varied, and surprisingly tasty. I'd definitely recommend it and will be back.
