Hotel Luna

The room's a little dated, but it has what you need and a few nice extras. I enjoyed having a bath in the tub at night. Breakfast was very good, especially for the low price. Some of the staff even went to a nearby store to get soy milk for me when they didn't have any that day, which I really appreciated. Great value for money. I'd recommend it and stay again.

The receptionist was exceptionally nice :)) Parking was tricky, though. The lot has about 15 spaces and was already full, and arriving from the Banska Bystrica way was awkward because you can't turn toward the hotel. We had to go to Tesco and turn around there. Breakfast choices were very limited, with nothing for anyone who has dietary restrictions. We also found ants in the bathroom and dirty walls around the bed.

Service was friendly and pleasant, and the price was very low, so our expectations were in that range. The breakfast was edible, but the coffee was awful. The furnishings looked worn and dated, and being without air-conditioning in the hot summer months was absolute hell.

The bed was comfortable and the room was okay, with the equipment we needed. The parking lot was useful, though the hotel was hard to find and could use another sign. Wi-Fi was quite weak. Breakfast was meant to run until 9:30, but when we arrived at 8:30 only scraps were left, like the last slices of cheese and bits of butter, with no vegetables at all. Nobody topped things up. We did manage to put together a pretty okay breakfast, including fried eggs.
