Thanks for explaining the modest breakfast, and for the reply. I now feel sure other guests at your hotel are getting excellent breakfasts, and I'll definitely stop by if I get a chance to pass the hotel. Good luck to you! During my stay, though, I found the room interior too old, the toilet very small, and there was no air conditioning in the room. Rooms 323 and 324 had no balcony. Breakfast wasn't served buffet-style. A waitress brought it to the table: two pieces of ham, two pieces of cheese, a small pat of butter, a glass of orange juice, and jam. Coffee, tea, and water were available.

The location is questionable, but the staff were helpful and friendly. Those were the only positives, and they couldn't make up for everything else. The small room had worn-out, uncomfortable mattresses, and although the sheets were clean, the mattresses weren't. The furniture had seen better days, the windows let in cold air and street noise, and there were burn marks on the carpet and table. The bathroom smelled stale, like sewage or something. At night, the hotel bar became a disco, with booming music and drunk guests talking loudly on the sidewalk. There was no chance of sleeping before 3 AM. On other days, private events booked the whole hotel restaurant, so I had to go elsewhere for dinner. I couldn't sleep a single night during my two-day stay. First and last time at this hotel.

The apartment was a very pleasant surprise. We booked at the last minute for a group trip and needed a basic room for two adults and a child. I suspect the simple triple rooms were already taken, so we were given what was left, an 80-square-metre apartment, at a simple-room price. We were delighted with it. The hotel caters to business guests, so breakfast was plated rather than buffet-style. There was coffee and juice, cheese, ham, tomato, peppers, jam, butter, and bread, with no other choice. That disappointed me because my wife is vegetarian, and she had to make do with half a tomato and a roll with jam. The toilet paper was the cheapest in Europe, in my view, and I'd suggest changing it. Everything else was fine.

The baked goods at breakfast were especially good. The room was pretty small, so anyone with claustrophobia should be aware. There was no AC, just an electric fan, and the busy street outside was noisy. Closing the window would have helped, but with no AC that wasn't an option. Not the worst and not the best, but a decent place if you just need somewhere to sleep.
