Breakfast is included, and the room, bed, and bathroom were clean. The rooms are compact, though, and the bathroom door didn’t close properly. There’s no water in the room, so you have to buy it, and no kettle for hot water. There aren’t any amenities or an on-site restaurant, so you’ll need to go out to eat. The location is handy, with plenty of eateries within walking distance. Bring an adaptor and extension lead for charging your phone and laptop. Check photo for details.

It was a welcome break from the busy surroundings, and I enjoyed staying here. The staff helped make it a much better stay by checking I had what I needed, offering guidance, and taking extra care to help me feel safe when things felt uncertain for me. Special thanks to the security guard and the person at reception.

The staff are super friendly, and I really liked the rooms and their beautiful balcony. The food is really good too. It’s in a good spot for business trips or leisure, and booking was easy. You can check in at any time if you request it.

I found the room on the 5th floor much better after switching from the one I first booked on the second floor. The staff are friendly, and shops and restaurants are close by. At around 50 usd/night, the price is very decent. Dakar has limited hotel choices, and prices can get very high, especially in the plateau area of Dakar.
