Marina Appart Hôtel

We came from the USA for our first trip to Senegal and wanted somewhere that felt more like home than a hotel. This Airbnb-style place seemed right, so I booked it straight away. We arrived late, but the staff were helpful and accommodating when we called. They were waiting for us and helped carry our things up to the luxury apartment. The property was very clean, and the apartment will impress you. I'd recommend it for either work or a holiday. You won't be disappointed.

I only lasted two nights here, out of the twelve I had planned. On the second night, a staff member asked to come into my room to collect a bowl. Then on the third day, a man in the lobby opened my door suddenly without asking. I told them it felt like an invasion of privacy and that they should knock, but he argued back and forth with me even after I explained my concern. This Airbnb-style hotel doesn't seem to respect its guests. I felt they had little regard for privacy or people in general. If you're traveling alone, I wouldn't stay here. I didn't feel safe.

The apartments and suites are spacious and inviting, with modern, high-quality amenities. It's a beautiful place, with lovely decor.

A quiet, clean and relaxing place, with a warm welcome and friendly staff.
