Le Kibalaou

I really valued how welcome the family made me feel, while still giving me plenty of quiet time. I even got to help with fishing, and we ate what we caught soon afterwards. The people working here are warm and welcoming in a way I won't forget. I spent five nights here on my own to rest and recharge, and the long, peaceful beach, clean comfortable rooms, hammocks, and shared spaces made it just right. The family who run Kibalaou are lovely. Fresh fish and fruit are the focus of the good meals, and I felt healthier as the days went by. There's good WiFi in the common area, airport pickup and drop-off, and help with whatever you might need. When bad weather cancelled my flight, they helped make new arrangements. I'd love to come back and highly recommend this beautiful place. PS: There's no ATM nearby, so bring cash for meals and the airport transfer, plus a little extra.

Dinner was one of the best meals on our motorbike trip through Senegal, and the staff gave us amazing service from the moment we arrived. The campement is right on the beach, away from the bustle of Cap Skirring, so it's very peaceful. It's a stunning spot, though reaching it by motorbike over the sandy roads was difficult.

The rooms are nice and the food is amazing. It's a long way from everything, which makes it super quiet and a great place to unwind for a few days.

There are no ATMs nearby, so bring enough cash or be ready to arrange payment through Western Union or Orange Money. I spent three nights here on my own, and the kind family made the stay special. It's a simple, down-to-earth place with a raw feel, and that's exactly what gave me goosebumps. You feel far removed from the world, while knowing breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all taken care of.
