The lagoon is right nearby, and you can tour it any time of day and spot huge pelicans. The food was incredible in both quality and quantity, and the staff were so helpful and nice. I spoke some French, which made things easier. We were on an all-inclusive package, and I had a fantastic experience. The bamboo roofing kept the rooms cool despite the heat.

Royal Horizon Baobab is right on a peaceful, relaxing beach, and the location makes local trips easy. You can get to the mangrove lagoon for calm boat rides and nature views, and see the famous baobab trees. Tour operators often pick people up right at the hotel, which makes exploring convenient. The surroundings are lovely, but the experience itself felt average. Upkeep and service could be better. It's a decent option if easy access to nature, beach views, and nearby attractions is what you're after, though there's room for improvement.

My favorite place to hang out in Somone. A great property with amazing gardens, two pools, a buffet that includes Senegalese dishes, and friendly staff.

A nice place to relax by the pool, with an excellent buffet and an all-inclusive option. The mattress was bad the first night, but they moved us and that worked out fine.

Horrible hotel! Arrive before 15:00 and they charge 31€ per person. I've never seen another hotel treat customers so badly. I won't come back and absolutely don't recommend it! The director is very untalented and speaks English very badly. Pathetic!
