We spent an afternoon relaxing by the pool and having a meal here. The setting is nice, with a green garden and a clean pool, and the simple huts looked clean. I didn’t stay overnight, but the open front-to-back layout of the main building felt cozy, and I can imagine it’s peaceful at night. The hotel is well located. The food, though, was really bad. My grilled lotte was dry, full of charcoal, and tasteless. It seemed like it might have been frozen. I couldn’t eat it. With fresh fish nearby, they should be able to do much better.

My brother-in-law sent me here, and I’d come back. It’s comfortable, with a great pool, a pleasant feel, and that Senegalese Teranga. Good vibes all around!

The lagoon and fishing activity are just a street away, and Plein Soleil has a beautiful setting with a friendly, intimate feel. We spent 10 days here recently as a family and made full use of the inn’s services. Marcel was welcoming and helpful, and the waitresses and bar staff always had smiles and made delicious cocktails. The chef served a varied menu with fresh food. Thanks as well to the housekeepers, gardener, and caretaker, who keep the place beautiful and peaceful, and to Rose 🐕. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll certainly return to Plein Soleil. ☀️ Hervé, Christelle & Joséphine
