Waking up to a view through the mangroves was one of the best parts. This place feels wonderfully connected to nature by the lagoon, and it's one of Senegal's most peaceful and distinctive spots. We tried all the activities and loved them: horse rides, boat tours, quads across the huge stretch of land, and kayaking. Our vlogs are on Instagram (@roadtripboys.sn). The rooms are comfortable, cosy, and really nice. The food was delicious too, with the chef's own style making it especially good. The peace here is something special. You should give it a try.

We stayed in a suite with its own pool and an AMAZING view. Having breakfast on the terrace was a must, and lunch and dinner were great too. This is easily the best place we've seen in Senegal. The hospitality is on another level compared with other places. Don't hesitate to book!

We ended our days with cocktails and dinner at the open-air restaurant, and the food was delicious. Amir and Danya are lovely managers, and every staff member was kind and attentive. Souimanga Lodge makes the most of its spot on the edge of the Sine Saloum, with piers leading to paillottes over the water. The private rooms and suites are styled with simple elegance that fits their natural surroundings. From the infinity pool, you can relax and look out across the tidal Sine Saloum. Birds are fun to watch from the waterside cabana, a kayak or paddleboard, or the poolside. Doing yoga on your own private pier was especially restorative. There are lots of excellent activities at this ecolodge. Don't miss the pirogue trip along the mangrove waterways, with a delicious picnic lunch at a beach along the way. It's a wonderful little idyll in the Sine Saloum. Highly recommended, and we'll be back!

The staff are amazing, and the way the place blends into nature is breathtaking. They offer a range of things to do, including kayaking, ATV rides, horseback riding, and boat trips on the lagoon. And the new chef is the cherry on top!

We only booked one night at Souimanga Lodge to get a feel for the Saloum Delta, but the beautiful grounds and breathtaking suite really impressed us. The service was excellent from every staff member, especially Dania. We found it world class and hope to return someday.
