The AC and internet both work, and the restaurant is OK. The rooms are OK too, but a little money spent on freshening them and the bathrooms up, with new tiles and paint, would make a big difference. As they are now, you’re not exactly eager to take a shower. This could easily be a 5-star review.

The rooms are basic, but they’re right on the beach and there’s a pleasant pool. It’s a nice, quiet spot away from the busy port, yet close enough to see the action when driving to and from the hotel. If we’re back in town, we’d stay here again. Breakfast was terrible, though. They didn’t bring plates, and apparently expected us to use a cup stand only about 5 cm across. We asked for regular plates each time and got small salad plates, along with an evil look from the very slow, bored girl serving breakfast. Dinner was OK, and the staff then were friendly and lively. One star off for breakfast.

The servers and other staff were very nice, and I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but the bed bugs were everywhere. I can’t catch a break. They also don’t take Visa/Mastercard, so bring enough cash or you’ll have to go back into the city to withdraw money.

The place is well located between the sea and the river, with a calm, clean swimming pool. Fall was helpful and proactive, thanks. I rented a bungalow with my family for a weekend under the new owner/operator. We had to insist before they gave us an old fridge, and the toilets could use more checking.

There were at least nine cockroaches and other insects in the room. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, even though they said it would be fixed. They also added an unjustified 3000 fcfa for drinks to the bill. It might not be much, but still.
