We only spent the day there and didn't stay overnight, but it was easily one of the fanciest places I've seen, in Senegal and maybe anywhere in the world. I also didn't expect to find pizza that good in Senegal.

Really beautiful place, and the customer service is top-notch. The rooms are spacious and clean, with lovely, soft decor. I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my kids, though, because there are so many water points. Still, it's a very beautiful place.

The rooms are a good size, clean, and have comfortable beds, but check the bathtub before you count on using it. I wanted to try mine, but the taps and stopper weren't working. The staff are warm, smiling, welcoming, and seem well trained in hospitality. The hotel is right in the heart of Saly, with malls, shops, cafes and lounges just outside. It isn't by the beach, unfortunately, though there's a spa, free access to the pools and jacuzzi, several outdoor pools that aren't especially impressive, and a hair salon. I love how the lights make the hotel look at night. I found there weren't enough staff in the eating areas. The spaces for lunch and breakfast felt too small, and I think their opening hours need reviewing. Food options are limited and could taste better. Rok On! Podcast by Rokhaya.

The room and service were great, but I had a bad experience at the spa. I was sick throughout my trip in Senegal and wanted a one-hour massage before leaving the next day. They only gave me 30 minutes, then said that was what I'd asked for, while still charging me for the full 60 minutes. Being shorted on spa time is a huge pet peeve of mine because it feels dishonest. I'm a guest, but I don't even want to come back for the amenities. Some people seem to think they can take advantage of you when you don't speak the language.
