I know the place is clean and comfortable, but the owner wasn't reliable. I booked a two bedroom apartment earlier in the week, and they confirmed everything was set. On the day I traveled, I checked again and was told it would be ready at 2 pm. I had recommended the place to someone I met on the way, too. But when it was time to check in, the owner told me by phone that he'd given the key to someone else. He also said I had only booked a one bedroom, so he had just one room available. The two bedroom was for four of us, my husband, our two kids, and me. I had to find somewhere else to stay.

It felt like a home away from home, and I was comfortable throughout my stay.

In North Paramaribo, the location is great. The apartment is spacious and beautiful, and the manager was helpful. Service was great, and everything was clean and tidy. I'd definitely recommend it, 100%. See you next time.

The owner and his wife were friendly and happy to help with anything. They even gave us great advice on finding trustworthy tour operators and affordable tours around the country. We could use bicycles for free, and the city center was within cycling distance. We stayed at Maya Apartments several times during our Suriname vacation. The apartments were spacious, attractive, and clean. A pleasant place to stay, and one we'd recommend to future visitors.

From the start, the personal welcome made us feel at home. They can arrange all sorts of things if you want, with no obligation. We had a great vacation. Thank you.
