Breakfast had a wide spread: tropical fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries, bread, cereal, eggs made to order, and hot items like potatoes. The buffet was excellent, and RINALDO was very attentive. Tea and coffee were great, with tea bags available in the morning. The pool area has gardens, a pleasant path, a hot tub, and a bar by the pool. In the lobby, a large Christmas tree stood among the sofa seating. BRITNEY and RIVALDO gave excellent service at the front desk. Our king room was spacious, with a desk, big-screen TV, walk-in shower and amenities, and lots of pillows. The bathroom and closet door handles were a little hard to use. There was also an in-room safe and free, reliable WiFi.

Damaris and Anjani at reception were wonderful, and so was everyone in the restaurant. The service was immaculate, and the rooms were good. It seems better suited to families than solo travelers.

The gardens around the pool were beautiful, the morning buffet was great, and the staff were friendly. Friday and Saturday nights were a different story: a club across the street played extremely loud music until 6am, and even earplugs didn't let me sleep. That's why I can't give it five stars. For a weekend stay, I'd suggest Torarica Resort, Eco Torarica, or another hotel in town.

The service was uneven, but Giovanni, the front desk manager, was very helpful in resolving the issues with our room. The deluxe room was lovely, with a balcony, and the pool area was beautiful, surrounded by lush gardens. It's one of the nicest hotels in Paramaribo, with green surroundings and a great breakfast buffet.
