Cardedeu Suites

The night before my wedding, after spending more than 10k with the Cardedeu chain, I brought my family from Mexico to check in. The front desk told us the room had been oversold and given away. We were exhausted, and I had a two-hour drive ahead to the Cardedeu Coatepeque lake venue for my wedding the next day. Manager Josue's solution was to have me drive my family from San Salvador to Coatepeque lake at 10 p.m. This was the worst experience of my life. They oversell rooms and don't treat guests as they deserve. Do not stay here.

There was a good amount of space in the room, but it felt very outdated.

I stayed from July 1st through July 5th and had a truly enjoyable visit. What really made it for me was breakfast at Silvestre restaurant, thanks to Karen. She welcomed me so warmly, and her genuine hospitality set a lovely tone for my trip. She was attentive without hovering, remembered my preferences after the first visit, and took extra care to get the details right each morning. Her upbeat, friendly manner and clear love of guest service made breakfast something I looked forward to throughout my four-day stay. That kind of consistent, heartfelt care is rare. Karen is a real asset to the Silvestre team and the hotel, and deserves special recognition. I left looking forward to coming back, and hope Karen will be there to greet me again.
