L'Esperance Hotel

The bathroom felt dangerous, and there was no ramp or elevator. The location was also too remote for me, so I wouldn’t stay here again. Service was okay, but the staff didn’t know much about the immediate neighborhood.

The staff were so friendly, and everything was extremely clean, from the rooms to the outdoor walkways. We felt at home, and the pool was really nice too. Late check-in was no problem. We stayed four nights on our first visit to the island. A little market was a block away, so we could pick up what we needed for the fridge. The main street was two blocks away, where we caught buses to get around. That worked perfectly for us, and it cost $2 per person. Parking at the hotel is limited, but we managed fine with our rental car.

A real little gem off the beaten path, with a pool and a good price. Each studio has a well-equipped kitchenette, which makes it a good fit for a longer stay. The only downside was that the air conditioning is just in the bedroom, so it takes a long time for the cool air to reach the other rooms.

Everything I needed was just a stone's throw away, and the hotel was very clean and accommodating. My suite came stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery. It also had a smart TV, so I could cast my phone to it and play music. The in-room Wi-Fi was handy.
