The toilet was clogged and couldn't be used. I asked for help, but there wasn't even a plunger, and nobody fixed it. There was no hot water during the stay either. I also found a lizard in the room, which made me uncomfortable and ready to leave. The TV wouldn't work because its plug didn't fit the socket, and there was no WiFi or phone connection. At the front desk, the young woman wasn't rude, but she wasn't helpful, and nothing got resolved or seemed urgent. My time at Adonis Cupecoy was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. The room was unacceptable from check-in, and the place didn't meet basic hotel standards. I wouldn't recommend it. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The location was a real plus, with restaurants, bars, and a beach all within walking distance. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they can arrange taxi pickups too. My room was lovely and more than enough space for me. I mostly just needed a bed and shower since I spent most days out exploring, and the room was very clean. I'd definitely stay again.

We booked three nights, but left after the first day. The bathroom leaked so badly that one of our two towels had to soak up the water, and only one of us could shower. There were no towels or toilet paper when we arrived, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. The room phone was broken, so I went to the desk. They said they'd send someone, but after our walk nothing had changed. When I went back, I was told housekeeping had gone home. I asked to move rooms and was told none were available, although we saw rooms online. I asked for the manager and was told she'd be in at 9. When I explained we had no towels or toilet paper, she gave us two towels and a pack of kitchen napkins. By then I was tired and disgusted, so I cleaned the bathroom myself with hand sanitizer. We'd only dropped our bags in the room before going to dinner, and had paid for a second floor room. The entrance door was so jammed staff had to open it for us, and then we were told the lift was broken, with no repair expected soon. There were people coming and going all night, apparently friends of staff. I asked for a refund first thing when we checked out. They claimed they couldn't refund us because we'd booked through booking. Com, but we later found that wasn't true, since the hotel issues refunds and the booking site only takes commission. We eventually got a refund. The CEO also sent a little bonus, saying he was blocking me from coming back and reporting me to booking.com. The only kind person was the housekeeper who came in Saturday morning, though she could only do so much with what she had. I'd book across the road at sapphire. I'd sleep in my car or on the street before staying here again. Terrible hotel, desk, and management.

We stayed a few nights and nobody cleaned the room. When we asked for a dry towel, the service lady told us to bring all the dirty towels downstairs to the lobby to get a replacement. Even a one star hotel shouldn't treat customers that way. There was nobody available at night, and nobody fixed the toilet plug. Some of the women working in the morning were kind. They said things shouldn't have been like that and felt bad about what happened, but management was really bad. It was a terrible experience.
