They asked for a deposit when we booked, and I paid it. When COVID hit, they promised to accommodate our group at the next Bushfire Fest. Once the time came, they said they were under new management and were “sorry for our loss.” The number was still the same, and the voice on the voice note sounded exactly the same too. Anyway, they’re crooks. I dealt with Shakira Maya and Faruk Mayanja.

The room prices were different depending on whether you asked the daytime or night staff. My room was dirty, the sheets were torn and hadn’t been washed, and there were no clean towels. The staff were also very loud in the morning.

I had a great time, and everyone was very friendly, from the security guy at the gate to the lady at reception. Her surname is Masuku.
