Run n' Fire Garden Court

An interesting stay, to put it mildly. The complex was very run down, and I seemed to be the only guest. The staff didn’t know I was due to check in. My room was sparse and a little unclean, but sleepable if you’re on a budget. There was no hot water, it got very cold in the evenings, and the TV didn’t work. The Wi-Fi did work, at least. I paid 299R for one night, and they upgraded me to a room with a fridge when I asked.

Please remove the words Garden court. Your standards don’t match those of hotels using that name. I have no good memories of this accommodation. The rooms and service horrified us, and the office offered no redress. They wouldn’t refund our money even when we asked, despite the poor service and room. I’m still disappointed.

The room was a health hazard, moldy throughout and in terrible shape. Curtains were coming off, the shower was cold, and the bed was so uncomfortable. The whole place felt like a shipwreck. The website photos are really misleading.

I left within an hour, and of course there was no refund. Nothing was clean: the sheets, walls, and fridge were all dirty. They advertise free Wi-Fi, but the router signal doesn’t reach the rooms. The TV is just decoration, since they apparently hadn’t paid the cable bill and it only played commercials on a loop. The sink and shower were ice cold. The staff seemed friendly. If you need somewhere near the capital and have dangerously low standards, this is the place for you.
