The Lady Grace boat cruise was great, and we enjoyed BLT Steak and the pizza truck by Corralli. Noori’s sushi was good too, though service there was terrible. The property is well appointed and sits right on Grace Bay, but the service made this our worst Ritz-Carlton stay. We came for my 40th birthday, and the mishaps piled up. We asked for early check-in and for welcome items we’d paid for to be in the room when we arrived. We waited two hours for the room and another hour for our luggage. The items showed up two hours after we got to the room, only after we followed up. My wife had also specially ordered and paid $100 for a cake. It didn’t arrive until 9 p.m. the next day, after my birthday was basically over, we’d had dessert, and we’d returned from dinner. Some staff did try to make things right. The guest manager helped us get a pool cabana and sent prosecco and strawberries after the birthday plans went sideways. Still, at a place that charges this much and claims top-tier service, getting things right the first time matters. Fixing problems afterward doesn’t erase the disappointment. The property’s beauty is why I’m giving three stars. Maybe we’d have felt differently if this hadn’t been a special occasion, but I’d think twice before trusting this Ritz with a celebration. They struggled to make us feel special. At these prices, the Mandarin Oriental is an option, and they never miss.

Varun, the food and beverage director, checked on us every day and made sure we felt welcome and cared for. He was attentive and professional, and his attitude really helped create a five-star stay. Aliya at the lobby was friendly and attentive too. The team here seems focused on giving guests a great experience. I spent a week here for my babymoon and would recommend it to future moms who want to tan, relax, and not worry about anything. The Ritz is right in the heart of Grace Bay, with direct access to a well-kept beach and pools. There’s a steakhouse, sushi, and an Italian restaurant on site.

I keep coming back mainly because of the location. It’s easy to reach dining, shops, and a nice grocery store, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. The on-site food didn’t impress me much. The concierge, though, is excellent. Wenderson helped with activities, dinner bookings, and taxis, and checked in often. His upbeat energy and local knowledge made everything easy. The building is newer, the rooms are large, and the location is spot on. Concierge, bell staff, front desk, and housekeeping were solid. Restaurant and beach staff were friendly and well meaning, but the service wasn’t outstanding. Given the prices, it would be fair to expect more. The value for money is poor, though I’m not one to argue with market forces. I’ve stayed here a couple of times and would return for the convenience.

Esther, Widley, and Raheem made a real difference for my son and me. Their suggestions were spot on, and they took time to help with reservations and plans. They went out of their way to make us feel looked after, and I’ll remember that. From the moment we arrived at The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos, the hospitality was warm. Everyone we met seemed genuinely ready to help. The restaurants had great food and atmosphere, and I had a wonderful time at the casino. The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. It was a memorable experience, and I can’t wait to return.

Grace Bay is beautiful, and the resort is well maintained with lovely amenities and a stunning beachfront location. But the service was the weakest part of our stay, especially for the price and Ritz-Carlton standards. At check-in, nobody made us feel particularly welcome or explained the property. We had to ask basic questions to find the restaurants, cafes, spa, concierge, and activities. Pool and beach service was slow and inattentive throughout. Staff rarely checked whether we needed towels, food, drinks, or anything else. It was also surprising that food and drink service at the beach starts only at 11 a.m. Before then, we couldn’t even order a simple iced coffee or morning drink. Finding a place to sit became frustrating. At the beach and pool, staff repeatedly told us chairs were reserved or taken, even when there were no belongings on them. Being told to move again and again felt rude and uncomfortable. We also learned that the loungers closest to the pool water cost an extra $150 to reserve in advance. With rooms already over $1,000 a night, that felt excessive. There were smaller frustrations too. Bottled water was complimentary in the room, but at the pool we were told we could only buy Evian, or walk to a water station and use cups for free water. Fresh coconut water by the pool cost $22, which seemed unreasonable on an island known for coconuts. The location and Grace Bay itself are amazing, but this was our most disappointing Ritz-Carlton stay. For the brand’s reputation and prices, we expected much more warmth and attention.
