Radisson Blu Hotel N'Djamena

For N'djamena it was okay, but it felt well below Radisson standards. The rooms and facilities are pretty worn out, and the only toiletries provided were soap and body lotion.

Reviews like these can help local businesses keep their standards up. I had a great stay: the staff were welcoming and professional, and everything felt clean. I also felt safe there.

After waiting over three hours, our rooms still weren't ready. The hygiene was awful, with bugs all over the place. Reception was rude and showed no respect for customers, and they couldn't help us with anything. I wouldn't call this a five-star hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The restaurants served tasty food, and security was very good, though both the rooms and restaurants are overpriced. The hotel is only seven years old, but it hasn't been maintained well. The room design is nice, yet things looked old or broken. My first night was awful because there was a mouse in the room. It took staff a long time to respond, and when they pulled the room apart trying to get it, the mouse escaped into the wall. Since the hotel was full, I couldn't move to another room until the next day. I didn't get back into bed until around 1:30AM, and the hotel wouldn't reduce that night's price. Other problems also took repeated calls or trips to the front desk before anyone sorted them out.
