The outdoor area by the pool is nice, and a couple of the female staff members were kind and helpful. The rest of my stay was disappointing, though, and I'm not sure how the hotel has such a good rating. Most staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. Getting served in the restaurant took ages, and it felt like I had to beg. I also had to push for a ride on the hotel shuttle to the airport. They wanted me to leave later because other guests had later flights 😒. My room didn't look like the ones on the website, and it was full of ants. The sink leaked whenever I used it. The shower, sink, and toilet were all together. I stayed for 10 days. At checkout, they said the card machine was down and they only accepted cash, with no other way to pay. It was a hassle, and I'm glad I managed to get enough cash. At the hotel restaurant, they also wanted exact change in cash. If you didn't have it, you were out of luck. The hotel isn't beachfront, either. You have to travel to get to the beach, since it's nowhere near the hotel. Wi-Fi was very unreliable, and don't count on connecting multiple devices. The lights went out one night. Stay at your own risk.

The infrastructure and ambience are excellent. They should sort out the frequent drops in water pressure at the taps and shower. Without French, it was hard to communicate with the kitchen for room service. There doesn't seem to be a menu. You tell them in English what dish you want, and you might get what you asked for!

It's a huge hotel, but it isn't very well maintained. The lamps above the bed in the room were damaged, and the lighting was extremely poor. The pool water had gone green, as if it hadn't been changed in a long time. One hotel employee poured cleaning chemicals over the heads of people who were swimming.

The staff were very helpful, and the place was beautifully maintained, with spacious, clean rooms, a nice swimming pool, a bar, and a dinner spot. The reception can arrange trips to a nearby market or mall. It's also easy on the pocket, and the diner serves a range of meals, including local delicacies. If you've just landed in Lome and want somewhere to stay near the airport, this could work well.

I went there for a birthday party. It was a welcoming, stunning place, and the food was tasty. I'd recommend it for all kinds of events.
