Hôtel Parc Résidence

The food is amazing, and the tropical plants make the gardens beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, though the beds are hard.

A peaceful, nice place with a pool tucked into nature, plus a great restaurant and good service.

We had supper while the hostess was making waffles for her family, and she kindly offered to make some for us too. The meal was good, although with only one cook the plates came out at different times. We were welcomed courteously, and the room was large enough for all seven of us, a young family. When we asked, they quickly brought three extra mattresses, along with more sheets, towels and pillows. The yard has a lovely garden feel, with lots of palms and very neat grounds. The pool was good, if a little chilly for that time of year. Its shallow end is about a metre deep, so it wasn’t ideal for young kids, but there are nice steps down into the water and even our baby got a chance to splash.

The owner was welcoming and very professional, and the place itself is wonderfully peaceful. The rooms are large and tidy, with a stunning mountain view depending on which one you book. The pool is currently unavailable while it’s being restored. For tips on travelling around and things to do, ask Guillaume, a marvellous guide who’ll make your eyes sparkle.
