Hotel Riviera Ramatou Plage

I liked the swimming pool and the full security, and the staff make an effort to speak English. The rooms are spacious and the ocean-side views are great. But the lights kept coming on and off throughout my stay. I heard the problem was with the grid and that the hotel had to buy a new generator. At one point the first floor had power while people downstairs didn't.

It was a calm, quiet place to relax, with spacious, clean rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel is right next to the ocean, so you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. The food was very nice, including breakfast, snacks, and dinner. The pool guards were attentive when there were lots of people around, especially children. The neighborhood felt a little sketchy, but there's a friendly security guard at the entrance, so I wasn't worried.

Sitting by the beach was a lovely part of my stay, and the whole place had a nice atmosphere. My room was spacious and looked good. The fish and chips were especially tasty, and the staff were friendly. I'd give it 7.5 out of 10.

I really appreciated how the staff handled things. They seemed to know when to help and when to give me space, which made the stay feel easy. My room was in a quieter section away from the main foot traffic, so I had good privacy there. On busy days, though, the grounds can get lively and the outside noise may interrupt the calm, especially on weekends or local holidays. The meals were satisfying, and the rooms had the amenities I needed. Hotel Riviera Ramatou is laid out thoughtfully, with a refined but welcoming feel from arrival. It’s a polished, comfortable place, and managing the crowds a bit better would make the privacy more reliable.
