I really didn't want to leave a bad review because the people working there tried as hard as they could to make my stay pleasant. The problem was that my room has such a strong odor of cleaning products that my nose was burning! I'm pretty sure I was the only guest and the place seemed like it was hurting. Which was a shame because the a/c and hot water worked great! Having not stayed anywhere else in Togo, I have nothing to compare it to. I also don't know if there are better neighborhoods, but I did walk around a lot and didn't see much of anything else going on. I found a place to eat, but

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Located just a few blocks from the Grand Market, the beach, Independence Monument, and the Palce of Lome. Walking distance to many good restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is spacious, very clean, and has excellent service. The unique mixture of stone and brick work adds to the overall charm of the building! There is a wonderful courtyard that is a peaceful oasis. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful, and the on-site restaurant was delicious! I definitely highly recommend staying here when comi

Lovely owner and staff. Interesting building with a private patio. It's in a lively central neighborhood so having a quiet retreat is perfect. I had breakfast in the hotel every day. Strong coffee, good food, warm staff. They provided complimentary laundry which was amazing. The rooms are unique. Fantastic hot water and A/C. Wifi was spotty at times but solvable.
