The staff were kind and helpful, and the free shuttle buses into the city were a real plus. We could also leave our belongings on the resort grounds and use the facilities until evening, which helped since our return flight was late. The bungalow was spacious, but clearly neglected, and the place has seen better days. The dusty-smelling curtains felt heavy and seemed not to have been washed in ages. The large bathroom had a shower and bathtub, but we avoided the cabinet because of a bad smell. There were ants near the toilet. A large jumping spider also turned up in the room, but staff came quickly to remove it. The stay was acceptable, though the wear and tear was obvious.

It’s peaceful and the setting is beautiful. My room was spacious, with a private cottage and one of the biggest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. The main street is a little far away, but the free shuttle runs several times a day, and it’s easy to arrange a cab or scooter. The quiet made the distance worthwhile. There’s no restaurant on site, so plan to order through Grab if you want food at the hotel.

After a week in hostels, I treated myself to some comfort here and loved it. The bed was large and comfortable, the pillows soft, and the shower hot with strong pressure. Staff were welcoming and happy to help with anything. I liked the location too, about a 20-minute walk to the beach and far enough from Ao Nang’s noise and chaos. I’d stay here again if I came back to Ao Nang.

The pool was my favourite part, with a great view and hardly anyone around. The area is green and lovely, and I spotted at least two squirrels. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the 24-hour reception or WhatsApp got back to us quickly. Free transport to the city runs at set times. Rooms are large and nice, and everything worked, though we had no water until 8 am one morning. We rarely got up earlier, so it didn’t bother us much. They don’t provide shampoo or shower gel. There’s coffee and toast in the morning, plus laundry and in-room massages. Laundry was pricey at 130 bht for wash and iron, while a place two minutes down the road charges 80 bht. Massages cost a bit more too, but they come to your room. I really enjoyed the stay.
