The room quality doesn't match the price, and the service sucked. The towel had a really strange, oily feel and left me wet. Take it if it's the cheapest option, otherwise I'd skip it.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and it was very quiet. Great price too. I'd recommend this hostel.

For $50 a night, the accommodation felt absurdly poor. There were no bed curtains, the bathrooms were dirty, and hostel guests didn't get breakfast. I've paid significantly less at other hostels that at least offered breakfast. It's one thing if nobody gets it, but excluding hostel guests who are already paying above market price feels gross and in poor taste. I don't recommend staying here. The hostel feels like a way for the hotel to earn a little extra. They were rude to guests who weren't staying in the hotel, and the accommodations weren't very nice. Staff were also aggressive and hostile, without apologizing.

The buffet food was actually good, probably the best part of the stay, but that alone couldn't make up for everything else. For the price, the hostel was a letdown. We paid $30 a night, while options in Railay cost $17, and expected better. It felt like they were trying to squeeze out every buck, and as dorm guests we felt treated as lower tier than people in the bungalows. I get that standards vary, but this place seems neglected and isn't worth the price. It could be decent with better upkeep, service and attention to detail. I'd look elsewhere. Our private room was clean at check-in, and the dorm was clean too, but the dorm was far too small for six beds and had no storage. It felt overcrowded, as if the space had been designed for fewer people. The common areas were dirty and neglected, with broken water fixtures and rusting furniture around the grounds. The pool was uninviting, with dirty water, old rusty chairs and one umbrella for six chairs. The gym was worse, most equipment was broken or worn to the point of being unsafe. Geckos are expected here, but cockroaches shouldn't be. We saw more than one during our stay. Our bathroom smelled of sewage constantly, and the showerhead wouldn't stay attached once the water was on, making it uncomfortable to use. Most staff were polite, but one left a lasting bad impression. I arrived 30 minutes before the buffet opened and politely asked for coffee. They said no, then took the coffee pot out of my hand. My friend had a similar experience after the buffet ended. She asked for coffee and had her cup taken away, which was disappointing since we paid extra for the breakfast buffet. Let
