Keereen Resort - Ao Nang Krabi

We were looking for somewhere away from the busy streets of Ao Nang beach, and this tucked-away hotel suited us. It doesn’t have a grand entrance or look especially grand, but it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed, more like a five-star family-run place than a big commercial hotel. The room was spotless, the food was excellent, and there’s a shuttle to the beach. The staff were incredibly kind, greeting us whenever we passed reception and asking if we needed anything. We loved our stay. Thank you!

We stayed five nights and loved every one. The pool, with its Mountain View, is stunning and always quiet. The hotel sits in a quiet part of Ao nang, which was just right for us, and there are some lovely little restaurants within walking distance. A shuttle bus goes to the beach until 9.30pm, and a tuk tuk back costs 150 baht. Breakfast is huge, with hot dishes you can choose from the menu, fresh fruit, mango sticky rice, and yoghurt with honey. Extra coffees are no problem. Best of all, the staff are the friendliest you could meet, and they really make this wonderful hotel. Book here for the loveliest staff.

It’s around a 25-minute walk from Ao Nang Beach, with a free shuttle bus provided. That made it easy to reach the shops while staying far enough from the main strip to sleep well. The staff all gave excellent service, very friendly and professional. Breakfast is made fresh to order, which was a nice touch. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and I had my best hotel night’s sleep so far. The shower had great temperature and pressure. I’d stay again if I come back to Ao Nang.

For us, a young couple looking for some peace, the secluded setting was ideal. From the pool we could take in the limestone cliffs, with nature all around, and sip cocktails. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the main road, and there’s a free shuttle to the beach. The room and pool views are stunning. Our rooms were spacious and clean, and the shower was good. Breakfast was delicious, and we actually preferred having it made to order instead of as a buffet. The staff at reception were warm, welcoming and helpful throughout. Shoutout to Lee and Ain!
