Mom House

A safe, clean place with the necessities for living, including electrical items. There’s no washing machine, but laundry services are available around the area. It’s a 20-30 minute walk to the beach. I loved my stay.

We booked through Airbnb and had a horrible experience. The bedding hadn't been changed, and there were red spots on the sheets. The rooms were very dirty and we found bugs too. We told the host, who tried changing the sheets and towel, but the towel had yellow spots and they were still dirty. Mosquitoes filled the place, and we don't recommend either the accommodation or the location. After we checked in, the previous costumer walked in and took a shower, saying the host had allowed them to. We were refused a refund.

This is a two-level house, around 15-20 minutes on foot from Ao Nang Beach. It sits on a small road near the main road, in a quiet area. 711 and another supermarket directly opposite are about a 5-10 minute walk away. The lower floor has a front entrance where you can park a car, plus a living area, a shared toilet and a kitchen. Out back there’s a balcony for outdoor dining, with a wet kitchen and sink. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms and a shared toilet. Both floors have air conditioning.

They have a couple of free bicycles you can use to explore the area, plus a motorbike you can rent. The house is beautiful and well maintained, with enough space for 6-7 people, though the beds only accommodate six. The sofa is luxurious and can turn into a bed if you have extra guests. There are two houses, Mom's house and Daddy's home, owned by the same person. We loved staying there.
