The owners made my 11-night stay feel like a homestay, not a hostel. They were kind and helpful, and I got a very authentic Thai experience through things like family dinners and coffee tastings. There are some decent Thai food spots within walking distance. The location is the main drawback. It’s about 4 km outside ao nang, so it’s not a good fit if you mainly want to spend your days at the beach. The street noise was the other thing I’d criticize.

Good spot for a few quiet days and a chance to recharge. The owner is such a lovely woman. Rooms are clean, with WiFi, AC and a fan. What more do you need?

The place is clean and attractive, the service is warm and efficient, and the price is good. It’s far from the city, but you can rent a motorbike here for the best price and get around easily. I really recommend doing that, since it costs less than taking the bus and gives you more freedom. Come here if you want to spend less and feel welcomed!
