The staff were very helpful, and both the room and bathrooms were clean. I stayed three nights in a fan room. Its only window faced a floor, so it got really warm at night. It's on a side street, but noise from the main road still carries through and it wasn't very quiet at night.

The room was filthy, with scratched walls and ants. When I complained about the ants, they said I could buy spray and pee, even though that could hurt us as well as the ants while we slept. The women at reception were unfriendly; only the man in the back tried to make things a bit better. I really don't recommend this hotel.

I'd rather sleep in the jungle with the monkeys from the Monkey Trail than come back, even if the room were free. The curtains let all the light in, so by 6 a.m. the whole room was bright. The bed was just one mattress on top of another, with no frame. There were lizards in the room, the TV didn't work, and there was no soap in the shower. They don't clean the sheets, and they take no responsibility if anything is stolen from your room. There's no elevator either. A hotel worthy of World War II, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. The receptionist had just enough intelligence not to soil herself.

Good location. The hotel is simple but clean. My room had a shared toilet and shower, and that was all fine for me.
