The hotel sits centrally, with lots of good restaurants nearby, a convenience store across the road and the beach just a few minutes' walk away. Staff were always smiling and friendly, and helped with requests, from arranging transport to suggesting places to eat and things to do around Ao Nang. After a day out, the spacious room and much-needed air conditioning made it easy to relax. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a laid-back feel that was a welcome break from Ao Nang's busy streets. The water was lukewarm at best, my only suggestion for improvement. I had a great stay and would definitely come back to Sabai Hotel Aonang.

The beach is an 8-minute walk away, and there’s a 7-Eleven nearby. Our room was clean and quiet. Some people complain about the mattress, but ours had a double mattress and was super comfortable. The one problem I had was that they didn't answer the phone numbers listed on Booking.com.

I was put off by a strange, strong smell in the hotel that reminded me of sewage. The shower pressure was very low, and the water never got properly hot. Otherwise, I had a good stay. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. It's very basic, best for travellers who just need somewhere to sleep. Don't expect luxury or extras, though the lower price than other hotels in the area makes it fair value.

The shower was the only small issue for me, since the water wasn't hot. This isn't a luxury hotel, but it's clean and well priced, with some dorm rooms, in a prime location. The vibe is relaxed and mature, not a party place. I liked sitting in the lobby and watching the street activity. I was surprised by some of the negative reviews, though it does depend on what you expect.

Ao Nang beach is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and shops, restaurants, a market, 7-Eleven, Starbucks and McDonald's are just around the corner. The bedroom and bathroom were super clean and spacious. It's a golden gem in Krabi if you want to enjoy the area without spending money on a luxury hotel. Very well located and great value. Highly recommended.
