There’s a small restaurant nearby called @Home, and the guest house has plenty of space for kids to play. We didn’t bring little ones, but it seems well suited to families. The place itself is basic but clean. It’s a little way from the border, so if you have luggage, you’ll need a tuk tuk taxi. The owner can arrange one for 100 baht.

For 500 a night, the double room has a balcony and is clean and roomy, with A/C, hot water, a fridge and a desk. If you’re trying to spend less, I spotted a couple of cheaper places advertised along the main road on the Thailand side heading out toward town. I had a hard time finding that information myself.

It’s an affordable hotel that feels worth the price, and getting around Aranyaprathet from here is easy. They also have self-service laundry, which is really convenient.
